Patagonian Mara - Current

The Patagonian Mara is the 3rd largest rodent. They originated in  south-central Argentina, and are listed as near threatened due to hunting and habitat alterations. Coservation is needed to be started to help conserve and preserve the species.

The New Guinea Singing dog had not been seen in the wild by scientists since the 1970s, conservation biologists thought the only New Guinea singing dogs left on Earth were the 200 to 300 captive animals residing in zoos and sanctuaries. However in 2016 a small pack were found in the hills on New Guinea

Gulf Coast Native Sheep - Current

Gulf Coast Native Sheep is a critically endangered breed, with only about 2.000 remaining in the world. This is a particularly important breed to preserve as they are one of the few breeds that is both parasite resistant, as well as hoof rot resistant, and can tolerate the hot, humid climates in the south. We are hoping to add some of the original heritage lines that date back to the 17 hundreds to our facility in the upcoming year.

Edward Pheasants

The Edwards Pheasant was upgraded to Critically Endangered in 2012 due to deforestation, hunting. and the use of defoliants during the Vietnam War. The populating in the wild in between 50 - 249 pheasants.

Blanc de Hotot - Current

The blanc de Hotot is a critically endangered breed of rabbit. The breed was developed in northern France in 1902 as a meat and fur rabbit. 

Nankin Chickens - Current

The nankin chicken is a critically endangered breed of bantam chicken. All of our current bantam breeds of chicken can be traced back to this breed. They are a very docile Breed, with the hens being good egg layers and good mothers.

Jacob Sheep - Current

Jacob Sheep - Current

The Jacob sheep are a wool breed of sheep that is considered threatened by the livestock conservancy. The Jacob sheep were imported from England in the early 1900's and are best known for having 4 horns.

Ring Tail Lemurs

Ring Tail Lemurs are  an endangered species of primates from Madagascar. We have a bonded pair of Ring Tail lemurs that we will be working with  named Bonnie and Loki.
